David McPhillips serves as the President of Ser Tech, a GDS Link company, specializing in data-driven marketing and credit solutions for credit unions and banks. With more than 35 years of experience in financial services, David leads Ser Tech’s strategic direction, client partnerships, and go-to-market efforts—driving innovation, compliance, and measurable results across the U.S. lending landscape.
David began his career at Chase Bank, where he led large-scale credit card acquisition programs and gained deep expertise in FCRA compliance through collaboration with Equifax, Experian, TransUnion, and FICO. His data-centric approach to prescreen marketing laid the groundwork for a career defined by customer-focused credit strategies and advanced analytics.
As the first employee and Executive Vice President of MH2 Direct, David spent 18 years building a financial services media practice that supported many of the largest U.S. banks. His work in developing custom list solutions and media brokerage services helped clients optimize acquisition and retention efforts at scale.
He later held senior roles at Epsilon, Zeta Global, and Claritas, where he led digital sales for complex financial institutions. In these positions, David focused on the convergence of data, technology, and compliance—serving as a subject matter expert in fair lending, digital targeting, and regulatory best practices.
David’s leadership at Ser Tech reflects his long-standing commitment to empowering lenders with technology-enabled, compliant marketing solutions. He continues to shape the future of credit marketing through innovation, insight, and strategic collaboration with financial institutions nationwide.
