As Chief Technology Officer of GDS Link, Chris Wood leads the company’s technology strategy, guiding platform architecture, engineering, and the adoption of AI-enabled capabilities across GDS Link’s credit risk decisioning solutions.
Before joining GDS Link, Chris served as Chief Technology Officer of Kalibri Labs, a private equity-backed hospitality data analytics company. There, he rebuilt the engineering and data organization, modernized the company’s data platform, and led an enterprise-wide adoption of AI to improve efficiency and decision-making across the business.
Chris built his engineering leadership foundation over nearly a decade at LookingGlass Cyber Solutions, a cybersecurity firm, where he progressed from principal engineer to SVP of Engineering as the company grew into a global leader in threat intelligence. He led the engineering organization through significant growth, architected the company’s core cybersecurity platform, and guided the technical integration of several acquisitions. Earlier in his career, he served as a solutions architect with IBM Global Business Services, designing large-scale data and analytics platforms for federal government clients.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Virginia and is the named inventor on two U.S. patents in cybersecurity technology. He is known for building engineering cultures that scale with the business, and for turning emerging technology into practical, measurable results for the organizations he leads.
