GDS Link will be attending this year’s Online Lenders Alliance (OLA) Spring Summit, May 1-3, in Washington D.C.
According to OLA, the alliance continually delivers high-touch networking experiences and educational offerings to achieve the industry’s mission and goals. The OLA Spring Summit is a gathering of more than 200 industry leaders for networking and promoting its mission to lawmakers.
“OLA Spring Summit is the industry’s opportunity to come to Washington D.C. and tell our story to regulators and policymakers. With so many critical policy issues hanging in the balance, the time is now to impact key legislation,” said Matt Kaitz, Education Director of Online Lenders Alliance.
“With the evolving online lending environment and regulations surrounding it, GDS Link is excited to collaborate with industry peers and share our thoughts on the current lending climate and the future of the industry with members of congress and their senior staff during the Summit,” said Rich Alterman, Executive Vice President, Business Development of GDS Link.
The hallmark of the OLA Spring Summit is an afternoon on Capitol Hill meeting with policymakers and legislators. OLA cannot stress the tremendous impact attendees have on the legislative process thanks to visits with lawmakers and their senior staff. OLA schedules all congressional meetings and provide attendees with a robust legislative briefing prior to their visits on Capitol Hill. Attendees meet in small groups with the congressional members and senior staff of the attendee’s congressional delegation.
